Wildfire Safety Webinar for Fil-Ams in Northern California

San Francisco, California — Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E), in partnership with the Philippine American Press Club USA (PAPC), is hosting a virtual town hall on Wildfire Safety and Prevention on Tuesday, August 20, at 4 p.m. 

The webinar, conducted in Taglish, marks the fifth year of PG&E’s collaboration with PAPC to enhance wildfire preparedness among multicultural communities.

The event aims to update Fil-Ams in Northern California on recent advances in wildfire safety and available resources, especially for those with medical needs or disabilities. PG&E safety experts will discuss ongoing improvements and answer questions from participants.

The webinar, moderated by Regina Venzon, PG&E’s chief of staff, will feature insights from Fiona Chan, senior director at PG&E, PAPC Chair Esther Misa Chavez, and Joseph Peralta, PAPC president. Attendees can join via Zoom or phone, and details are available at bit.ly/KaligtasanSaWildfirePGE.
