Los Angeles, California – The 2024 Very Important Pinoy (VIP) Tour was launched by the Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles on February 1, 2024, captivating the Filipino-American community. Representatives from various tour operators and travel agencies were present, echoing the successful launches in New York and San Francisco.
Scheduled from July 21 to 30, 2024, the VIP Tour introduces exciting new destinations such as Bacolod, Cagayan de Oro, and Bukidnon, providing participants with an immersive experience in Filipino culture and heritage.
Philippine Consul General in Los Angeles, Edgar B. Badajos, extended a warm invitation to join the tour, emphasizing its significance in cultural exploration. Notably, this year marks the inclusion of Northern Mindanao for the first time, enhancing the tour’s diversity.
Jose C. Clemente, President of Rajah Tours, detailed the itinerary, transportation, and accommodation arrangements. Subsequently, Soleil P. Tropicales, PDOT San Francisco Tourism Attaché, introduced the “Love the Philippines” campaign, garnering enthusiastic support from attendees.
