On March 14, 2026, the Filipino community anniversary celebration took place in Vallejo, recognizing the 80th anniversary of the Filipino Community of Solano County, Inc. (FCSCI).

Representatives from the Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco attended, along with local leaders and community members. Vice Mayor Diosdado “JR” Matulac administered the oath of office for newly elected officers, and Judge Marlo Nisperos was present as a distinguished guest.

FCSCI President Annie Frias-Ramos emphasized the organization’s role in preserving Filipino heritage and supporting future generations. The event also honored past leaders and highlighted ongoing initiatives, including youth programs, wellness events, and cultural activities.

Established in 1946, FCSCI continues to expand its reach beyond Vallejo, with events like Pista sa Nayon remaining a key part of the Filipino community anniversary celebration.
