San Francisco, California — Twelve Filipina women were honored as recipients of the 2024 Most Influential Filipina Woman in the World Award during the Filipina Leadership Global Summit in Sydney, Australia. Hosted by the Foundation for Filipina Women’s Network (FWN), the event honored their outstanding contributions to various industries. It highlighted their role in breaking barriers and redefining leadership on a global scale.
These trailblazers represent fields such as healthcare, technology, government, and real estate and exemplify Filipina women’s resilience and ingenuity. Their achievements highlight FWN’s mission to position Filipina leaders in every sector of the global economy.
During the awards gala, the Philippine Ambassador to Australia, Ma. Hellen De La Vega praised the honorees for their significant impact on reshaping narratives of leadership and innovation. Marily Mondejar, FWN Founder and CEO, described them as architects of change.
The event also featured a keynote by Mary Massina, CEO of Mary Ann’s Island Pty Ltd, who celebrated the honorees’ transformative impact.
This year’s recipients include healthcare pioneers, tech innovators, and policymakers such as Jacqueline Cezar Dela Cruz, COO of Innovention Food Resources, and Jeannie Ng Sandoval, Mayor of Malabon. Their work underscores the evolving role of Filipina women as global change-makers.
